I was thinking have a day where you send out emails to all the quit Scratchers telling them to come back and see their old friends again... etc etc. This would be really awesome and maybe they'll change their minds and rejoin again! The scratch team could greet them and they could post in the forums, marvel at how Scratch has changed, complain about how in the old days there was no such thing as a curator and, of course, have fun!

That would be cool, except there is one issue: How do you know that the Scratcher would come back? A good number left because they were fed up. Good plan though.

It's an invitation. If they don't want, then, well, not our problem.
@Blade-Edge:Why not? What were they fed up with?

Well, it'd be hard to know who has quit and who hasn't (there may be people who are just inactive), and personally I wouldn't like the Scratch Team begging me to come back, so no.

They're fed up with the community
It's really funny actually

You have to provide yours when registering, so the Scratch Team knows everyone's e-mail.
But still, I don't think this is a good idea, most people who quit for real don't come back, ever.

yeah I thought the same thing. Plus, lots of e-mails include the persons name (like mine).
