Check out Jen's Scratch2exe tool. It allows you to run a scratch project in Presentation mode on a PC that doesn't have Scratch installed on it.

dogdog, Scratch projects cannot be run as stand-alone applications without Scratch, because they are interpreted by the Scratch execution engine at "runtime". Therefore Scratch needs to be installed to run a Scratch project in presentation mode.
As Paddle2See pointed out, I created a little pseudo-compiler, which will (sort of) convert Scratch projects into a Windows exe-file. If you run that exe-file your embedded Scratch project will be shown in presentation mode (fullscreen) and exit back to windows if you click on the "return" button or hit Esc on your keyboard. That way you can share your Scratch project with someone who doesn't have Scratch installed on their system or who are lacking admin rights (under Vista) to install it, and it also hides your code.
You can get this little tool from http://www.chirp.scratchr.org/blog/?page_id=8
Please let me know if this addresses you problem.
