Full little screen

Hi all.
I have a new suggestion about Scratch (new for me, but I don't search the 2 years old posts). For the screens in Scratch, we have this:
- Online project: really laggy.
- Little screen: make move the sprites when you click.
- Really little screen, but it's only for editing the scripts.
- Full screen, the best screen for play, but too pixelated.
Now, I suggest a new screen, the Full little screen:
It's like the Full screen, but the size of your game is 480x360. I was really bored to see my sprites deformed by the full screen and I hope this would be really nice.

Re: Full little screen

Great idea! I think they should just raise the resolution of everything anyway.

Re: Full little screen

Yes I agree with this.  Higher quality images, and full screen online.

Re: Full little screen

I'm a little confused. You want higher resolution in full screen, right? That sounds good in some regards, but you also have to consider that it will significantly increase project size, and the resolution has to be low enough so that everyone's monitor can handle it.

I mean a 480x360 full screen, not a higher resolution. I know my english isn't really good, and I can explain you only with this pictures:

Re: Full little screen

You could have a better resolution full screen by having the images converted to vector graphics.

It would change al the editor and make the game harder for new scratchers...

Oh, I see. So you could have the regular, small window with black letter boxing? That sounds like a good idea. Presentation mode without those awful pixelated graphics.

Not necessarily.  I read somewhere that they are (were) planning on vector graphics.  ...which can be resized clearly.
Vector editors can be much more complicated than regular image editors, but also can be very similar and simple.  I bet the scratch team would pick the latter.

Yes you're right. If the Scratch's team can makes easy blocks like in Scratch, she can makes an easy vector editor too. It would also reduce the size of the sprites. I am just scarred about the glitchs with the blocks like "if touching [...]".

You don't notice that you can see each individual pixel?
