This is for anything you figured out that's helpful in scratch. For example, you can clear the pen by clicking the clear block while still in the blocks list- this works with Any block, such as steps, graphic effects, etc.
Feel free to add anything you find useful.
tip 1- you don't need to drag a block into the scripting pane to run it, you can just click on it. This is helpful of you don't want to reset EVERYTHING after a test, or for moving sprites, clearing the pen, etc.
tip 2- you can just type the x and y orientation you want into a go to "x y" block and click it to pu the sprite there.
tip 3- put the sprite where you want it, then click the "motion blocks" section and the "go to x y" blok will already have the current x y orientation of the sprite in it.
Top4- you can drag a block back into the block library to delete it.

Interesting idea for a topic! I find it really handy that double-clicking blocks causes them to run; if I have to reset something because my scripts screwed up, I needn't bother making a script for it. I just need to double-click the appropriate block.

Actually, in Scratch 1.4, you only have to single-click.
My addition is that you can drag blocks back to the block library to delete them.
