Once you're upgraded to "Scratcher." How long that takes depends on how active, helpful, and friendly you are on the forums.

Hey WhatThe3221, New Scratchers are given the ability to post in "Miscellaneous" when their title gets changed to Scratcher.

Titles are changed from New Scratcher to Scratcher by being active in both the main site and the forums.  smile

I don't know how to use scratch. If I'm not very active on the main site, and active on the forums, will I get up to "Scratcher"?

Being active will get you the title faster, if that's what you mean.  smile

The forums are mostly separate from the main site, so no, how active you are there does not affect your status here.

Actually, it does. New Scratchers have to use both the main site and the forums to have their status bumped up to "Scratcher".

@WhatThe3321: Why not try downloading the Scratch program and learning how to use it? It's hard to be active on the forums without having some knowledge of Scratch.  smile
