Explanation: In MK9, it is said that Shao Kahn summoned Kratos from Earthrealm's past. Freddy Kruger is also a playable character in MK9, and it was confirmed in Freddy vs. Jason that NoES and Ft13 are the same universe.

Anyway, along with the MK megaverse, the DC (and by extension the Marvel, due to the two companies existing within eachother) and the Tekken/Soulcalibur universes are two parallel universes to it.

The Tekken/Soulcalibur universe works like this:

Tekken is in the present. Soulcalibur is in the 16th century, also around the same time as the God of War portion of the MKverse (the timelines don't match up). Hyrule and Sylvarant (from Tales of Symphonia) are pocket dimensions of the universe. Spawn is also in the Tekken time period. Star Wars in in a faraway galaxy of this universe.

Complicated, no?

EDIT: I forgot that Street Fighter and King of Fighters coexist with Tekken. tongue
