snapshot block

there should be a block that takes a "picture" of a sprite  or the stage, and then adds it to a specific sprite's list of costumes.

For example:

When sprite 2 clicked
snapshot of x:____ Y:____ and save in (here there would be a pulldown menu) <sprite 1, sprite 2, stage>

Then, in the sprite you chose to save it in, there would be a costume named snapshot 1 (2, 3,4, 5 ect...).

The block could be i looks and could look like this http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/134803

PLEASE consider my idea or change it a bit

Re: snapshot block

Good idea, but I see some problems -

1) 'X____ Y____' would only take a picture of one pixel. You would need it to be a range.

2) If it takes a picture of the whole stage that would be too big!

3) Rest seem like a good idea!

Just interested - what block category do you think this block would fit into?

I'd say looks!

Solve for x
2+3+2+(-9)+1x+2x=7
