You really don't need to have a great mike to import music well. Simply, click on the sound tab of Scratch program, and a window will open. Select the music you would like to open. It might take a few moments if the file is big; I would say mp3 files work the best, though. Hope this helps, and if you need further clarification, you can ask me at any time!

if you want to import music onto scratch that wasnt already on there it has to be a certaian type of music file.i suggest it being a .wav file.to make a sound or song that is not a .wav file into one you should get this program called audacity.once you get audicity open up the music file by going to project and import sound.then once you've imported the music go to file and then export as wav.then click import sound on scratch and find the file.it should be under Computer>C:>program files>audacity>
hope this helped!

Simply click on the sound tab and then click the button next to record that says import.
Then locate where you music is and double click on it to import it to scratch.
Scratch reads most major music types so usually there is no need to change its type.

Btw it's MIC, not mike. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I get seriously annoyed when people call it a mike. D:
Also, if you plan to record voices or stuff you can always get a better mic - most laptops should have a mic input to let you use another mic.
