I was just wondering if anyone would want to make a machinima? I'm bored and I want to try making one... Let me post some info and idea...

Info...
1)It must be made using a free game with multiplayer (like cube or atmosphir)
2)I want the game to be kid-appropriate, so nothing that's bloody gory randomness.
3)We need some actors that have audacity or other voice recording software... We need an editor(or 2) with some video editing software(ie, iMovie)... Writers who can work on scripts... Yeah, I think that's it...

So, does anyone have ideas for a machinima to make?

A good example of Machinma is Red vs Blue, but unless you're ok with swearing, don't watch it.
Actually, maybe is doesn't swear... I can't remember >.<

I believe a machinma is when someone parodies a video game and screencaptures it and does voice over, or re-voices the trailer.

Well I use Screentoaster, I think it works on mac...

It does, although it has a lot of lag which may be a problem.

If you want to try doing a quick machinima a pilot episode, I'll be able to do some recording soon, we'll just need lines, a map to play on, and at least one more actor.

To make a simple machinima you need video game screenshots, a microphone, and Windows Movie Maker (NO NOT THE WINDOWS 7 ONE). Or the alternative is just record yourself playing the game itself and dub it (something like Freeman's Mind).

I prefer we use Sauerbraten(Cube 2) You can have a mute character xD Or use Speech to Text.
