Lightnin's sticky about the Guidelines of this forum has 2,800 views and was there for months, and now the Unofficial election has almost as much and has only been there for a couple of days! This means that the election is getting way to viewed and the Guidelines are getting under-viewed. The people that haven't read the Guidelines shouldn't be moderators, I say.

The guidelines aren't getting underviewed. If someone reads the guidelines once, they don't really have to repeatedly go back to that thread. However, the election thread has discussion going on, so people have a reason to frequently visit it.

This.
Also, the guidelines are closed.
Which I guess was implied in rufflebee's quote.
I think my gender shock thread outviewed the guidelines three days from when I made it

You only read Guidelines once; but you visit an election topic many times to see new posts by other users.

Who cares about views? The way I use forums, I never even see them

But seriously, that is pretty sad. Everyone should know the guidelines for Miscellaneous.

PCKid, don't you have some sort of way of increasing views by 10000 overnight? Why don't you try that with the guidelines?
