Megaman 11 Tech Engine!

Yes, I have made the tech engine. Tell me how it is! It's a little glitchy, but it's still workable.

ENGINE ONLY WORKS FOR PC OWNERS.

Hey, you like the icon I used?  big_smile

To play, just open up the Executable. The game will start. Press up to climb up ladders, down to climb down ladders, left to move left, right to move right, x to jump, and z to shoot. That's it. Just jump around, shoot your gun, listen to the 8-bit sounds and music. The ladder is pretty glitchy, and so is landing from falls, mainly if you are moving left or right while falling.

Interesting, although I'm nervous running executable files.  Did you make it with scratch? or a mod?  Why not upload it to scratch?

I made it with Scratch, and converted it to Executable.

And I didn't upload it to Scratch in fears someone would take credit for my hard work.

I don't really like it when people take my work I worked very hard on, and didn't give me any credit. Now I know how Nintendo feels >_<

So somebody copied your work, they didn't give credit and their copy got famous?
That stinks.

I was worried when I first started scratch that people would claim my work as their own.  It's happened a few times I know of, but others have called them out... and it's easy to see who had the original idea: the person who posted it first... and really, cheaters don't win in the long run.
Now, I'm happy when other people use my ideas.  I feel like I'm making a difference by helping them learn, have fun, or feel important. 

Looking through your scripts I noticed you didn't credit CAPCOM for making Megaman, or the person that ripped the sprites and sounds from the game... or the scratcher(s) you learned to make platformers from.  ummmmm...   smile

We are ALL COPIERS.  We mimic and inspire others, that's part of how we learn and grow.

Nice megaman engine!  It looks like you put allot of work into it.  I'm looking forward to the full game.

Ah, but some people import the project, and it doesn't say it was remixed.

And I was talking remix wise. And actually, these scripts were all on my own, the jumping script was a majorly edited version of another script I made, slightly based off of Archmage's. And your right, I will give credit for the sprites, music, and sound.
