Since there's been a lot of recent interest in this forum about the Community Moderator elections, let's put all the self-nomination posts and discussion on this single topic to keep the forums from being flooded.

Some points to remember though:

* It has not yet been determined how many new moderators (if any) will be elected in this next round

* No, I don't know exactly when the elections will be held. A determination will not be made before next week.

* The official topic will probably be in a different forum since the elections will clearly be Scratch related - this topic is just for practice smile

* Please keep the discussion constructive and positive

Ahh. The elections. I was going to run for mod but I'm not going to be active for about a month starting from Early October and Early November (school exams sad ).

Hello, I am DaGamez. You may know me, you may not. You may know I've been banned, you may not. I've gotten many warnings in the past, and then finally got a ban. But after than ban, in those 3 days I got bored, I've changed. I've went from-well, spamming with some people to helping. I've gotten to use the Text-Based-Games more, but I'd love to be a moderator here as well. I've always wanted to be moderator-Ever since the forums were created. I'm actually an '07er-But I joined in '08, got hacked in '09, joined in '09 again, quit because of cyber-bullying, then made this account. Don't worry about the 6-month limit to run-Months ago I emailed the ScratchR with another account I made in February or so, before I made this one, so that's okay.
But ever since I've been banned I've started to help, and not spam. I now post larger posts, as you may have seen on the TBGs in RPGs, or even some topics where you're only supposed to put, "I win". I'm sure many of you dislike me, maybe even hate me, and maybe some of you like me, but shouldn't you vote for who'd be better, not who you like most?
I won't get my hopes up, as I'm sure I won't get to be a candidate, but please consider voting for me wink

Hey. I'm militarydudes. I'm sure lot's of you recognize me. I've been on scratch for 2 and a half years. I started scratch as a big nobody (like everyone else), and I went about expressing opinions and spamming, but I've quit that, knowing all it does is tick people off and get me in trouble. I used to make some projects that went against the ToU, but I realized that didn't help me either, so i'm cleaning up my act about that.

I've become really bored recently, and kinda want something to do. I also want to help with something. No one really expresses interest in my projects (except the one I got in scratchers weekly), so I thought I should help out around the community.

I like to help people in difficult situations, as I seem to be good at understanding others feelings.

I won't be super strict, nor laid back. I want to stay a part of the community, and I won't act like some high up person who wants control.

I want to stop trolls big_smile
