BYOP stands for Build Your Own Platformer. It's a great and simple, but filled with many goodies. It's highly customizable. It supports all sorts of features, including menus, music, muting, realistic physics, level changing, multicolored platforms, and credits, all of which are already built in.
Give the BYOP engine a look, I guarantee you will like it. I've already built 2 successful games from it.
