I'm kinda depressed with scratch lately, 1st I've never been on the top loved list and I see the most stupid projects on the top loved list while i develop the first side scrolling split screen games, plus my games are as good as archmage's and I'm about as good as him! 2nd I just released a demo of a gray sky (amazing game) which took me 1 month to make and it really wasn't that liked and I wasn't expecting 100 love its or somethin, but I felt insulted (@#$% you heybrian!) so yeah I'm probably leaving for a month... I'll be online, but I won't be creating projects for awhile, unless I get like a lot of love its, but I doubt that will happen... sad

whad i do? Evryone has an opion. Jeez. Dont need to swear at me if i say "i wouldnt really say this is the best game on scratch" i didnt say i didnt like it!

Does being on the top loved list succeed your goal? Well, it shouldnt be. The point in scratch is not to get top loved, but to programm your best.

He means sucky projects (Like Zachandrew1230's stuff) gets featured and front page when there are amazing undiscovered projects.

I hate to critisize, but ding dong & hobb is right. Stupid projects get featured. And i dont care what anyone says, the reason people make projects is to have them on frontpage & loved. Period! my project got 63 d/l & still no frontpage! I know we're supposed to encourage projects, but some are just outright stupid. This site is messed up.

Zachandrew1230's projects were NOT featured, they reached top downloaded and then top viewed but they were not featured by the Scratch team.

Also, a note of caution, it is not honest to click the download link yourself to artificially increase the number of downloads on your projects.

Dingdong it took me 7 months to get on top Loved, Top viewed, and Top downloaded and i recently got my first project featured, and im happy dont give up you have to keep trying!! And now people appreciate my work!

Don't give up dingdong your really good at scratch and oh heybrain1 your the on to talk about programming your best you wont leave me alone about my sprites there real i just didn;t make them on scratch and i had to transfer them to scracth thats why some things are weird about them. Anyways dingdng i think you shouldn't give up

Just because no one is totally SATISFIED with your work, does not mean you are bad! Scratch isn't about getting on the front page, it's about making your best! >.< Once one of my project got top loved AND top downloaded, and i'm nto sure why because it only had abotu 30 love its. One of my projos got featured and well i was happy (except it was just a simple game). well, soemtimes bad proejcts get featured and stuff, but they see them in a good way sooooo...you shouldn't feel bad about yourself. the more you experiece, the mroe people will like ya! XD

You are correct. I dont really care if i get top loved or not, the only thing that would make me feel REALLY good was getting featured.
