You could've just said that to him and stopped there, instead of of blabbering on about how awesome it is, fueling his need to reply, thus fueling your need to reply, and so on.

If you look back on the topic, you'll find that I did twice, and that I didn't blabber. That's more like how you keep repeating what you've been repeating

I was referring to PlaywithFire about blabber. Sorry.

explain please.

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs The World

yep it was a boy kissing another boy

i don't see how that's worse than a boy and a girl kissing.
though obviously i get that some people may be grossed out by that.  whatever, it's done in a funny moment to show a joke.

I also saw a boy kiss a boy on a degrassi commercial. Totally want to see it now right? No. Teennick stinks at advertisments.

In that review Caleb linked, they mention a boy kissing another boy, I've seen a girl kiss a girl on kids (preteen) TV.

And?

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Hmm, this is getting a bit flame-ish. Let's all try to calm down. This thread was originally about the movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World, right?

From the looks of this thread, it seems to be better designed for those who have actually seen the movie. So let's start off this thread fresh again, okay?  smile

We can start off the topic again with the original question in mind: Do you consider the Scott Pilgrim film better than Avatar? Why or Why not?

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs The World

sounds like a good plan.

I would say it is better than Avatar, because in my personal opinion, avatar was essentially a more eye catching version of pocahontas, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  Scott Pilgrim on the other hand was more of an indie film with the budget of a regular film, making it awesome, and unique in more ways then one.

Ah, quite a good point. I thought Avatar very amazing graphics, but the storyline was rather... generic (I've seen too many films where a guy from the invading army falls in love with a girl from a indigenous people [or, I guess alien in the case of Avatar]). For an indie film, Scott Pilgrim was pretty impressive.

Scott Pilgrim was based on a novel series; I wonder if anyone has read the novel and saw the series, and if there's any differences between the two of them.  smile
