xD
EDIT1: But it did take a heck of a long time to hand-pixel recreate my "mii" avatar in "cheddargirl form".
EDIT2: He really does stare into your eyes, doesn't he? xD

About the message at the bottom, how about:
Everything is better when you add a chain letter, because when you add mail your life isn't stale.. That rhymes.

You know, I have to ask this: Drawing with pixels can take a very long time... how long did it take for you to pixel-ify your mii avatar?

This is how it basically went:
So firstly, I did this in GIMP, mostly so I could have a back layer as the normal mii, and the front transparent layer to look back on the previous layer as a guideline essentially. Like an onionskin.
Before that though, I shrinked my mii image to about 80x80 for the signature
.
Using the Path tool (sort of like doing that connect-the-dot thing mentioned in your drawing tutorial), I went around the head section, and then had it create a 1px width link through the path (dark brown). Then I filled it in with a lighter brown.
Then I did mostly the same for the main head with shades of tan, and filled that in. Then I hand-pixel did the bright spots, and the eyes and eyebrows and nose and mouth.
Afterwards I did the body... simple.
But of course this took a long time because of many mistakes, as well as with the transparency so I had to like go over the whole thing again and stuff. And I don't do art like this that often, so I'm not going to bother downloading another art program.
So I copy and pasted the top layer into the basic sig box I made in MS Paint, based on yours, and uhh... yeah
.
Of course this is 99.9% sure different from your process, at least I'm guessing, so yeah.
But after this little joke ends, I'm planning to add hopefully a pattern around the sig box (just like how you have a little bit checkered), add maybe a hand motion like having my thumb, index, and pinky fingers up (
), and then change the text to soemthing like "Lucario621, 2007 Scratcher" or something like that
.

From far away it looks like it has a unibrow

Oh my, yeah, it is. I would have gone with MS paint entirely. If it was me, I'd outline the entire mii avatar in black, invert the colors, change the image attributes so the image was black and white, invert colors again, and then change the image attributes to use a colored palette. (I think this MS paint tutorial explains how to do it better than what I've described above).

Aha! I see! I never knew about that
But there's a problem (*gasp*!)
I have Windows 7, which means I have the NEW Microsoft Paint
So I found the properties thing, but I can't find the "invert colors" tool
. Even doing ctrl+i doesn't work

Same here. I like the old windows paint for spriting, and WIndows 7 paint for other stuffs.

I heard you have to press Cntrl+Shift+i to invert colors. Does that work?
