How long are chapters, normally?

I've seen chapters that are two pages long. I've seen chapters that are forty pages long. Most are usually around 20, but it all depends on what's happening. I suggest seperating chapters at cliff hangers or whatever.

Oh... 'cause in my book (The Magic Bath 2) It hasn't even been 1 page yet, (almost, though) and I'm wondering if I can get away with having that as a chapter.

I read a remarkably good book that was 548 pages long, and one of the chapters had only one line of text in it. I'm just saying.
(Not all the chapters were just one line, only one chapter.)

Yeah. Maximum Ride has really short chapters.
So does Daniel X. Chapter 100 on page 150.
