I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to see Gorillaz live on October 22, with my best friend (and his Dad)!

Here's how everything worked out
6 days ago, I was examining a Pandora Internet Radio service, that let's you see if there are artists that you've told Pandora you've liked playing around your town. I was checking out the list, and something struck my eye... Gorillaz was listed! I was so excited! But, I told my parents about it, and they said I couldn't go. I was so mad!

Well, thank god for my friend. Coincidentally, his mom E-mailed my mom, saying that my friend and his father, were going to see the Gorillaz concert, and they had an extra ticket. They invited me to go. Well, I had great luck, and they said since my friend's parents went through the trouble of buying an extra ticket, they said I could go.

In the end, I'm glad my parents said no the first time, because this way I can go with my friend (and his dad, whom I luckily like)! At October 22, 7:30 PM (central time), I'm going to be screaming as Gorillaz come on stage.

I wonder what it's going to be like! What songs are they going to play? What's going to be the opening act? Will anything interesting happen, besides the music? I'm so excited.

Gorillaz have some rap influenced songs, but they're mainly an alternative group.

Here's something we both agree on: Gorillaz is awesome xD I hope you have fun at your concert!

I don't go to many concerts, when I was little I went to a Hannah Montana concert (I don't like her now. Don't judge me!) and that's about it. I guess it's because I don't like many artists anymore. I like a couple songs by coldplay, and Michael Jackson.

So I guess I'll just listen to my iPod and dream of going to a concert tongue
