Beyblades were the most awsome fad ever to hit the market. Basically they are battle tops that you but on a launcher. The launcher has a ripcord on it that you pull hard to make the top go onto a smooth surface and spin. The tops keep hitting each other until one top is left standing. Also, the cool thing about beyblade was that each part was interchangable; the top, the weight, the bottom, and the part it spins on. Each part had different attributes, like some are better for spinning longer, some for knocking other beyblades down, so you could mix and match. Now you make me want to buy some beyblades even though that fad is like 5 years old >.> *goes to ebay*

Well I'm 15, so I haven't been to the toy section in years xD or played with toys for that matter. I would seriously play with beyblades, though. You should get one and see how you like it. It's more fun to battle someone, but it's fun sometimes to see how long you can get it to spin xD

The words of a beyblader
Yup, everything you say is right. I loved them years ago, but I think I lost them

That brings back memories... *flashbacks of me launching my dragoon/zeus/dranzer combo beyblade at my siblings*

I still have all of mine. I don't use them, but I have them. I got like 3 versions of Dragoon, including a special edition one that is SUPER sized, and lights up. I also have the failed Dual-Launcher. Beyblades were freaking awesome. I remember playing beyblades, pokemon, and this Ninja toy game with my best friends all the time. D: But for some reason we aren't friends anymore...we didn't even get into a fight they just randomly decided not to talk to me after saying they wanted me to go to their house to hang out again... orz *sad*

Wow, I remember those things
.
They are spinning "battle" tops, and you can add different parts to them (or mix and match). You have a "stadium", and the tops keep rolling around and hitting each other. The last one spinning is the winner.
Ah, memories

Yeah, Bakugan sucks. I mean, seriously, it's simultaneously ripping off Pokemon and Beyblades!

Yep. I didn't watch the show, but I always saved up some bucks to buy new parts and tops. I gave mine away too, but when we go to Arizona to my grandmother's house, she has some old beyblades

Actually, it is a horrible mix of the two.
