Last night, I woke up suddenly, and felt a sinister presence in my room. I tried to move- to look around, but I was frozen in place. Try as I might, I couldn't scream for help. Finally, I noticed a short old lady with an evil, wrinkly, face. She smiled a disgusting, toothy smile at me. Suddenly, she disappeared, and I could move again.
Narcolepsy
Am I going crazy?
Edit: Just so you know, I wanted to see if anyone could guess that this was the old hag syndrome. It didn't really happen to me.

It was nightmare that seemed real, don't worry.
@Kimmy - Be realistic, ghosts aren't real.

The Old Hag. Weird, WEIRD phenomena, IDK how it works.

So it wasn't a nightmare? Well it was just an over-active imagination then.

I see things all the time. It just means that your brain has something that is bothering it, and wants to let it out. It's like daydreaming but not.

Whoa creepy. Do you know if your house is built over and old burial ground or someone died there or something?

The "Old Hag" Syndrome? Is that the cause of this?

You're absolutely positively undoubtedly uncontrollaby sure that this wasn't just a bad dream? If you are, that's really scary. If I saw somebody in my bedroom at night, I would probably faint since I'd be so scared.

Really scary, once I woke up and saw snakes all over my bed slithering and moving, but they disappeared when I turned on the lights
