Scratch

I made a pic for my gallery "The Uber-Awesome Chat Place!", and It's a BMP pic made on Paint. It took a long time to make it, and when I tried to upload it, it says "File is too large to update" in red words under the icon area. I'm tired of resizing the picture!!!!!! Why is it happening? Is it because I saved it as a BMP pic?


EDIT: I found the answer! It's because Scratch can't upload a BMP pic, so I saved it again as a GIF image. Mods, close this please!
