Yes. It's the first day of 5th grade. I'll be on my iPod touch while I'm in carpool, before I go to the jail known as "school".

When I was in fifth grade, if you brought your iPod to school it'd get stolen either during lunch, recess, or reading. Har har.

5th grade wasn't all bad, since it's your last year of Elementary School and your at the top of the... food chain?

I go back the... 8th I think.
Sadly, I'm in a different "house" as my friend. Houses are just one more thing that divide people, there is two for every grade... aw...

I don't want to scare you, but fifth grade was so bad at my school. We had almost two hours of homework every night, and we were supposed to get about one hour's worth. And we had some other issues too.

Really? I always liked 5th grade. I didn't like 6th grade much, and hated 7th and 8th grade. (Good to know you have so much to look forward to, eh?  tongue )

I'm going back to school in less than two weeks. I'm going to be a sophomore. (10th grade in case you didn't know what a sophomore is.)

I've been through 5th grade (I'm going into 6th grade now), and I ended up getting a really nice teacher. But I struggled in math (I always do), and I got bullied A LOT (I may be well-liked on Scratch, but kids in real life think I'm dorky just because I have glasses and that I have a life-long disease that makes my hands sweat a lot. But really, I'm not a dork). But at least you still get recess  smile . I've heard that middle school has no recess  sad . But the middle school I will go to has this thing called Commons, which is sort of like recess.

Wow. With all your posts about how you listen to this and that and you can cuss people out when you wan,t I expected you to be in a higher grade than me.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

School started Wednesday for me. I am a junior (junior = 11th grade = usually 16 or 17 years old). I already have mountains of homework.  sad  I will be way less active now...

Sounds exciting.  smile  I wouldn't worry too much about the school's size. My school has 2,200 - 2,300 students and it is fine. In fact, it is sometimes better to be in a large school because there might be more clubs and sports teams.

I'm an incoming Freshman =\. I actually liked 5th grade, and 6-8th (middle school). We had a really small school. But I'm going to a highschool of 3600+ people.

5th grade was awsome. 6th grade was really cool except some things, and waiting to see what it is like in 7th, last year was eaiser than I thought.

Me too. Um.. 5th was really easy for me... No homework  smile   6th was meh... um, if anyone makes fun of you, thank them and walk away.

Don't worry, studies have shown that 99% of people make it out of fifth grade alive.  Then again, you could be that one percent...(just kidding about the statistic, no idea what it really is)you'll be fine, you've made it through 6 or 7 years thus far, right?
