Remix Lock!
Have you ever made art and it was stolen? Has anyone ever stolen something from you for attention? Well, here's an idea: Remix lock! By clicking a check box in the corner when you're going to share a project, you can lock your project so no one can download it and remix!

Let's change Scratch and make it a better place.*

Nice suggestion - I see your reasoning! However...
This has been suggested many times by many different users. Each time, it has been not implemented, because part of the "scratch way", is remixing. Remixing is the way scratch works, its the way people learn. Here, nobody really "owns" anything, so it's not stealing.
If somebody ever remixes your project, and and deliberately copies it or makes fun of it, than you can always flag it as inappropriate and say why the project should be removed because you feel it's mean. Otherwise, just embrace it, and just encourage others to improve projects more, and give them ideas
