Hello there.
I wanted to create buttons and interface stuff for my projects. Tried using all these fancy programs to make them and import them into scratch. They always lost quality, so I was suprised to learn that you can do a lot with the scratch image editor.
I've used a trick to create embossed finishes for buttons and interfaces. You can even get metallic effects with it. Basically you fill your design in red and wrap it up with different colored borders that you apply various effects to get a 3D embossed look.
Thought it would be good to share by demonstrating what you can do with this simple trick. You might even find this useful to test design ideas before implementing them in your own projects. Hope you find it useful. See my project:-
