I have been trying to make an operating system in susestudio for a while now, and while I have accomplished that, its not very good. So, I am thinking of starting over again, this time with a team to help me. If your interested, just post, along with what you would like to do. You will need to request an invite, you should get one within an hour if you fill out the comments section. I will do the actual making of it, but designers, artists, web designers (for a site), and so on will be needed.
Firstly we will be needing a name and a logo. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure. My guess is that it shouldn't, because he's talking about collaborating using a language other than Scratch. (Good luck by the way)

That's what I was thinking.
@mooseofawesomeness, I would help, but I would be kind of useless.

ya but your missing the point OS stands for operating system meaning just having apps and a start menu doesnt make it an OS. it requires more than a million lines of code for a decent one

Well opensuse provides a base, and it's one of the best and most popular os's out there.

You can have any opinion you like, it's fine with me. I guess I am sort of biased towards Linux, but do you actually have any Linux experience, many of them are based off of anoth distribution.
