Oh my gosh! Sonic 2 XL!
For those who don't know, Sonic 2 XL is a hack of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis/Megadrive. In this hack, whenever Sonic grabs rings, he gets calories. (I guess they are ONION rings? lol) And the more rings he gets, he gets fatter. Once you reach a certain amount you die from being too big, but if you run, or run into ? boxes placed around the level, you can work off the fat. 
This is what sonic looks like after 15 or so rings. Anyways, if you guys have played the hack, you should know it it pretty hard to get 50 rings (enough to get to the special stage) without dying, or being to large to jump into the checkpoint for the special stage. Well I'm happy to say I have made it to the Special Stage twice, within probably 15 or a half our of playing this hack. 
I hope to get all the chaos emeralds and see if Super Sonic can get fat, too! XD If you guys want to try it, (with permission from your parents of course) download THIS Sega Genesis Emulator, and THIS rom.
WARNING! EMULATOR IS ONLY FOR WINDOWS! If you have a Mac, simply search "Sega Genesis Mac Emulator", and research around the internet to see if the sites downloads are safe.
Have fun with the hack, and tell me how many chaos emeralds and levels you got through before you got a game over!

You should. It's hilarious seeing him die of obesity, it isn't funny in Real Life, but it's hilarious how he looks in the game. Have fun with it!

Sadly, there's no Super Sonic. 
Either that, or the cheat I put in doesn't work to have 7 chaos emralds and debug.

Cheats:
Level Select: Go to "options"(below 2-player) and, in the sound test, play sounds(in order): 19 65 09 17 and press START. Hold down A and select 1-Player and you'll be at the level select.
Debug: Go to level select, sound test, and play these songs in order: 1 9 9 2 1 1 2 4 If you hear a "Ring" sound, you've done it right. If not, do it again. When selecting a level, hold A and START.
Super Sonic Cheat: Go to level select and play these songs: 4 1 2 6 If you hear the "Emrald Collected!" sound then you've done it right. If not, do it again.

Thanks! I got them off a website of Sonic 2 cheats and apparently the creators of Sonic 2 XL forgot to take them off, or just kept them on there for the sake of being easier.
