"Switch your old light bulbs to new Fluorescent ones" You do know that the chemicals used in these lights are highly dangerous to the enviroment.

...None of us are going to go feeding the lightbulbs to animals. They are safe unless you smash the bulbs, take out the lightbulb oil, and feed it to animals or water trees with it. We won't be doing that. They were made to save energy, so obviously they will keep the chemical safe. Fluorescent lightbulbs save way more energy than old ones. And even if sometimes the chemical is released, which isn't often, the good it does is still greater than the bad. And plus, most of the chemical is in the factory making the lightbulb (Safely protected) instead of in the bulb.
