Can you post a project that replicates this issue?  I've been testing pens and stamping and it works fine for me.  Thanks!

Yeah, I know "%" is the proper symbol, but most kids associate it with percentages and that could be confusing.

I'm having trouble replicating this issue.  What steps did you take for the values to report so many digits?  Thanks!

If this becomes the next version of scratch... will there be a way to copy blocks? i do that all the time and it would be annoying to not be able to.

Yes! Copying blocks will definitely be in Scratch 2.0.

That's a relief - it saves a lot of time when scripting.  smile

Oh boy, I can't tell if this is my computer, but this one causes my browser to freeze: http://scratch.mit.edu/experimental/viewproject/goch/1245848

How long is it? I expect the longer ones (LINE, for example) would definitely kill it, while shorter ones (fifteen blocks high?) would work fine.

Re: Help test a new way to play with Scratch projects online!

This is cool but there are a few things wrong with it but there are things it does better than java.

Examples:

Con:
pocket god Scratched. Many things don't drag, the water doesn't move and the layers are all messed up.

Pro:
Li'l Ball's 3D adventure. It renders faster than java

Pro + Con:
Stickman's mission impossible 2. The sprites arn't resized but the flash player doesn't proccess all the scripts

Con:
Sorry to end this on a negative basis (Great job BTW)

Physics simulation game This is a one sprite, one script project. The flash player does not handle trigonometry functions at all.

On Firefox 3.6.8, that project will load all the way and then freezes up Firefox. On Chrome 5.0.375.126, it loads all the way and then freezes and crashes Flash rather than the whole browser.

You have to change the mode. I forget which one does it.
EDIT: It's Mode 3. Change it by pressing space.

Before I start, is it possible to stop opting in?

Well, you don't automaticly view every project in this mode. Next to the viewer for how the projects are normaly viewed, in between the "download this project" and "project notes" it will say "Play with the code Try out this project in the Experimental Viewer." if you click on that, that is how you will try the new viewer once you opt in.
