The thumbnails in the Sprite List don't change when the costumes of the sprites change.
By the way, it's as slow as Java.

Ooh ooh ooh! I tried it on my Code Messenger (Scratch 1.4) - it doesn't work in the Java Player, yet it works in the experimental viewer.
The blocks and such look different - will the blocks and such look like that in Scratch 2.0? I prefer the Scratch 1.4 look...

Another bug: Can't open projects that include "obsolete!" block

I can't seem to open anything with this even opted in...
EDIT: NVM
EDIT2: how do you edit the sprite?
EDIT3: Speech bubbles don't hide when the sprite is hidden.

The "Stop All" block doesn't stop the sprite from "asking and waiting".

Here's my complete bug report
1. very slow scrolling
2. no right-click (very disappointing yet expected with flash)
3. blocks don't report value when clicked (probably not a bug but please include)
4. graphics look good but very slow, especially dragging
5. flash doesn't allow much customization (eg to change a textbox's code)
6. just slow in general
7. really slow
8. i don't like the menus that you have to hold the mouse to select
9. confirmed: pens don't work
10. the speech bubbles need a lot of work
in my opinion, it's still largely in beta. it's slower than squeak and less 'moddable'.
i'm awaiting the downloadable version. (remember the costume editor ... and variable section which seemed to not show for me)
but i guess it's a big step for scratch ad i hae to admit it looks great.
Scratch On!

You can tinker with the scripts of a sprite by playing with the blocks that already exist in the project or by dragging out blocks from the palette - you'll need to click on the colored squares between the stage and workspace or < <
However you cannot edit the costumes or sounds of a sprite.

Wow! Nice veiwer. It is great to be able to see the programming of someones project right there in the same window. After all the bugs are fixed, this will be a huge upgrade from the current player!

For all the people who complain it's slow, maybe it's your internet connection.
The project didn't load extremely fast for me (which is to be expected, considering it has to create the scripts), but the actual project was a decent speed, and the script editing was a HUGE improvement! I could drag an extremely long "if" statement and place it elsewhere with ease! It definitely works a lot faster than the current version of Scratch, IMO.

no, it's not my connection.
i'm not complaining about the speed of the loading or the player (which were fine) but of the script editing. it's understandable, since it's online, but i don't like it.

I don't know what you're talking about! Here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/shadow_7283/1134207
Try editing any of the scripts and especially the text in that project offline. Now try editing it online. See the difference?

Yay! Thanks!

OMG, typo!
When it should say (letter () of []), it says (leter () of [])...
Also, is there a way to copy blocks? I was afraid that would be different in flash ....

I do see the difference for THAT project, but it doesn't work that way all of the time. For example, try out my Mario Kart project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Lucario621/872624

TDSM3 doesn't work in the viewer.

It might RUN a bit slower, but the script editing is still a huge improvement.

I found that it is slower then the java viewer. The music is even slowed down.

Great! The only glitch is that sometimes it open the experimental viewer without permission. Other than that, it's perfect! I'm going to show this to my little sister who confused about downloading projects
