Re: Help test a new way to play with Scratch projects online!

Will opening a project in experimental view make the project run faster?

Please reply in my gallery INTELEWARE.

Thank you

This project opened a dialog about accessing my mic and webcam
What's up with that

Re: Help test a new way to play with Scratch projects online!

I think I found a couple of bugs...  One is that when you open a drop-down box, you have to hold down the mouse button for it to stay there, which I find very annoying.  The other bug I've found is that on the if-else block the else is right next to the if, instead of in-between the two c-cavities.

Hi - maybe I'm missing it - where do I show the project notes?
Thanks ( hi scratch team)

Hiya Keith! You don't, at least not in the experimental viewer. In Scratch 2.0, the editor will be more tightly integrated with the project page, so most likely we'll just add / edit notes there.

Umm... this experimental viewer info thing says that it will record my mouse clicks.  Does that mean it will record my every click or just the ones inside the web browser programmer?

Re: Help test a new way to play with Scratch projects online!

I just tried out my Silly3 project (a CrazyTalk simulation) http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/SimpleScratch/921551 and my mouth doesn't move as it does in native scratch or the java player or flash player.

regards
Simon

Hmm... that must just be a particular Scratch project doing that (and it would only be clicks within the project itself, and the information would be erased as soon as you close it.)

Ok, closing this since the experimental viewer is no longer live. Thanks to everyone who submitted bugs!
