With http://www.emailmeform.com, you can create forms that will e-mail you a message that someone enters. It's sort of meant for surveys and polls, but you can easily make your own private message system, as I've done (see sig). If you make one, feel free to steal the image I used in my sig for your form
. If you need help making one, ask, and you shall receive [help].
Note that you make this at your own risk, as anyone can access the form if they have the link.
Edit: Don't even think of spamming it, or I'll take it down or add limits to it.

It's a form that allows people to enter text, and it e-mails you the contents of the form when it's submitted.

This is an interesting communication form that you have developed here! I'm a bit concerned that the form asks for email addresses though. As you may recall from the Terms of Use, asking for or giving out personal contact information is not recommended for safety reasons.

I just tested it out, and email is not a required field. Only the name, subject and message are

Well, this isn't something we'd recommend, as the communication is unmoderated. But, after all, it is the interwebs, and there are lots of ways to communicate.
Mainly we don't want people sharing personal contact info like email addresses, addresses, names, or phone numbers, as those are the primary means of contact that internet safety experts say are concerning.
So, it's ok if you guys want to play with this as a method for communication, but it's not one that we'd recommend. And please do not bump topics just to get them additional attention - it just clutters up the forums. If people are interested, they will post and the thread will rise. Otherwise, you need to let it go.
Scratch On!
