We're glad you guys like it!
We probably will add it to announcements later, but we thought we'd start here.

Oh no, the immediate top posts will be picked repeatedly because they are on the front Suggestions page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Hide "votes cast" before it is too late!!!!!
plz
plz
someone help soon!!
Likewise, who is gonna waste one of their 10 votes on an idea that is already behind in votes?!?! Great idea btw but this is the kiss of death. The outcome is being progressively skewed by the second, sigh.
Since all ideas won't fit on one page, they should appear randomly every visit on the users first page AND WITHOUT SHOWING PREVIOUSLY CAST VOTES!!
No election,/voting works that way?!?!?!
And I'm sure 5 million 7 yr olds voting for "more cats" or similar will be a predominant force but I'm willing to accept that as part of the deal. I'm starting to hope the voting outcome has little bearing on the actual results. Sorry to be freaking out btw hahaha.
new thoughts: Will more suggestions be added later to vote on and if so, what if I have already used my 10 votes but I find a suggestion I like better? Can I "move" an old one? If no more will be added, what is that thing to submit one suggestion for?
And, very important to me and some others, what about the hours and months we spent in this forum updating a running Suggestions list? Should we just forget about it that now, did/willl it even matter?
what is your favorite color? what is the square root of pi, all of it now, tell me YES!!!
lol j/k about that last part sorry

@Locomule - the Suggestions forum is still a great place to make suggestions You're free to make as many suggestions as you want here. Ideas are to be vetoed or accepted by the Scratch Team, which will give those on the front page more attention, meaning they'll get off faster.
You can switch around your votes however you like. I tend not to vote on front-page suggestions because they're already getting the attention they need.
And keep in mind, the Scratch Team didn't make this completely - it's powered by a Uservoice system
Oh, and you can make your own suggestions

As usual, you rock bro, with a quickness I might add!
So are there like 'rounds' where some ideas get voted on, then they get replaced by the next round's ideas? Or do only some of the ideas get removed?
I am a little puzzled also about how "ideas on the front page getting more votes and attention will get removed quicker"?
Lastly, should I paste the suggestions listed in my forum post into the new "One at a time" suggestion thingy or just hope they get seen in my original post? I'm guessing to go ahead and paste them in. I mean, other people will be adding theirs that way anyway right? No reason to place your ideas at a disadvantage of getting noticed.
PEACE

Well, I think you've got a lot of suggestions from your post, so it might be a bit of a hassle, and the Suggestions forum works better for that.
I'm not sure about what you're talking about with the "rounds" - but basically, the more exposure an idea gets when it's front-paged means a Scratch Team member will find it more quickly, approve it, and it gets taken off the front page. I think that's how it works... Actually, I've come to a realization that it doesn't actually get off the front page until it's actually implemented, or vetoed. Some suggestions are not visible unless you search for them, and probably a lot of suggestions will get a lot of votes but simply not be possible. (For example, search for "playstation.")
The suggestions forum will remain an active place to make suggestions, so don't underestimate this forum!

What if we spend a vote on a suggestion and we don't want it there anymore? Can we take back our votes?

Yep! Just click the orange icon beneath the total number of votes (the one that displays how many votes you gave it). Then, change how many votes you want.
