well i know nobody wants 2 separate sections for them but you know the tags (game,animation,art) maybe they could be updated to the most viewed recently or something because i never click the tags anymore because to find something that isn't 1000-10000 views (loads of ppl have seen + me) takes ages so possibly theycould be updated?
this way the front page stays the same just the tags (the small bit too the side no one looks at can be different)

So, you mean something like "top viewed projects tagged with 'art?'" This has been suggested before, and notably with a more customizable front page. I'd definitely agree if you have the option to completely decide which columns you'd like on the front page.
