You should be able to select a sprite you are drawing and be able to paste it. hope this gets done ~ willamation tongue

You can stamp a sprite onto the stage, if that's what you're talking about... hmm

If you mean, copy within a costume in the paint editor, you can do this already.

I just added it to the 'Scratch Secrets' in the Wiki

Copy and paste- to copy part of an image, select part of it with the selection tool, then press Ctrl + C. (Like many other programs this is a shortcut to copy.) move the created selection to your desired location. To paste, click outside the selection, or change to a different tool.

OR If you mean copy a sprite: right-click the sprite and select "duplicate".
