I uploaded a project and the images where fuzzy on the edges. How can I fix this?

What format are you saving in, and what resolution (size)?
If the photo you upload is small and it gets upscaled, it can get pixelated. Also, certain formats like JPEG compress the image to save space, but cause the image to lose its sharpness.

I made the image on Scratch, so I don't know the format. It became fuzzy once I uploaded it online. It is a bit small...should I make the image larger but set it at a resolution smaller than 100%?

Offline the image only has 3 colors (which is what I need, since it is 3D) but online it has many different shades, messing up the way the game is played.

Could you maybe show us an image of what's happening? I'm not sure I entirely understand...

I can't post the image since I am a New Scratcher. Sorry.

As the clay moves upwards you use the width variable to stretch and squash it. It uses stamping, so the sprite is at the top, but only a few pixels smaller. Is it too small?

Have you tried unchecking 'compress images' when uploading?

Untick the "Compress images" box when uploading

Yep - the problem appears to be that the "compress images" checkbox is checked. Of course, it could also be that the sizing while online makes the edges appear kind of strange... Lots of people have had trouble with that in the past. If unchecking the "Compress Images" box doesn't make a difference, I'm afraid there's no way to fix this.

That screenshot is from offline-I tried with an without compressed images online. Thank you for the help!
