Re: :D im a good drawer

Wow! That is a good drawing! But maybe this should be in Show and Tell.

How long would a "good drawing" like that take you, normally?

Re: :D im a good drawer

They're good for a 9 (?) year old.

Though 1st, this should be in show and tell, and 2nd i hate it when people act all full of themselves, especially when it comes to art.

Mind your tone - I'd be careful with this kind of sarcasm if I were you.

And congrats on the drawings, Doody. I'm moving this to Show&Tell though.

I don't know what you mean. That wasn't sarcasm

Actually JSO, I think you should watch your tone too. It looks to me like you're jumping to a conclusion and then threatening Blade-Edge based on that assumption. I don't really know what you'd call it.. jumping the gun perhaps? But you should make sure you have all the facts straight before going straight to the conclusion and threatening someone, and even then I don't think a moderator should be threatening people.

Re: :D im a good drawer

Guys, let's not turn this into a fight.  smile  We don't want flames here, right? Jim, if you don't like how someone is acting, the best option is to use "Contact Us" or the Report button. That way you wouldn't be starting a fight, while arguing right in the thread will most likely have the opposite effect. ^^

And Blade, that really wasn't a nice post. Seriously.  hmm

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

As a new member of our community, it's great to see you taking such an active role!  And your feedback is certainly appreciated.  But I think you are wrong here...when quotes are used around words in a sentence like that, it is often understood that the writer is using the words in a sarcastic fashion.  See items one and two in this article.

JSO is very kindly trying to keep another Scratcher from running into trouble with TOU violations by alerting them to what looks like (to him and me) a possible issue.  That is one of the responsibilities of a Moderator.

Re: :D im a good drawer

But Blade Edge specified that he wasn't using sarcasm. The quotes around the word could have been doing just that and quoting Doody's choice of words, as in a good drawing. To me it looks like a simple question.

Do we honestly have to have a virtual debate over every quotation and "subliminal meaning?"

Re: :D im a good drawer

No but I just don't think the question was anything more than a question. And I feel that I should be defending a person who's asking a question and it is being taken the wrong way. What do you mean by subliminal meaning? If someone were to use quotation marks, to use the words of someone and then it is misinterpretted into being sarcasm and then he is threatened no matter how minorly I shall be there to defend them. Everything does seem to become a debate with me because I only post where it's important, or where I feel that there's something wrong.

Re: :D im a good drawer

Unneeded drama behind me, I'm still waiting for Doody to answer my question. Also, I find it funny how the whole team jumps to a conclusion and a new scratcher defends me. I'm not nice, I admit it, but I wasn't not nice here.

Re: :D im a good drawer

@Scratch team, I don't think he was being sarcastic, just quoting from the original post,
He even said so "I don't know what you mean. That wasn't sarcasm"
And I don't think its fair how you put up your side of the argument then threaten people not to argue with it any-more, the forums would be terrible if everyone did that.

@Blade-edge, Although you didn't do anything bad, be a bit more careful with your wording next time I think, to stop people taking you in the wrong way.

Anyway,
Nice drawings, they look really cool.
