i tried downloading an item from the resources,
And it said i needed to log on,
And then i did; again
and then it said i was invalid,
And then when i tried to start a new account
it said i had to logoff my current account that it apparently recognized...!!!

???

If you have special characters in your password you won't be able to login on SR.

This is because of a bug that I can't fix myself, someone from the Scratch Team has to fix it hmm

Try downloading a batch coverter until then sad
It allows you to convert all files in a folder to a certain format.

This thingy seems pretty safe:

I tested it and It works like a charm. Very innovative app. Going right onto my USB thumb drive for future use big_smile also virus free ofcourse. (and only 1 exe file!!)

Just use the free trial.

This supports tons of formats, and is virus free. It's also widely used and isn't quite as... (as the British would say) dodgy as JSO's link.

I can't log in. It's a javascript problem I think. When I click the Log In button, nothing happens.

Also there's a bit of a conflict I found while exploring the site:

What login button? The link that says 'Login or Register ...' or the actual button when you already entered your credentials?

The only login problem we know of, is the site falsely returning 'login or password incorrect' when there are special characters in the password. That is a bug on the ScratchR API side and I hope they get it fixed ASAP.

About the conflict: hehe big_smile I'll fix it.

UPDATE
The User Contibutions pages now display paged results because RodentBoy's 185 sound were making my browser crash.

The Login or Register link. I tried clicking both of them, but nothing happened. It made the 'clicked link' noise, but nothing ever opened. I am using IE7 on Windows XP on a PC.

NOTE: Sorry if your upload takes a while to be approved. I went on today and there was a back-up of about 4 pages of resources that needed to be checked. We will try and check your resource as soon as possible, but it is hard with all your uploads-but that's a good thing big_smile

I uploaded some resources, "Path", "Pond", "Sky", "Sky Clouds", "Snow and Fence", "Stone", and "Street"... but I don't see them. Though ones I uploaded after that, I DO see...
