OK!  big_smile  I probably won't be online much today (my parents are going out. I'm old enough to stay home alone, but my little brother isn't... and I'm not old enough to babysit him... so a babysitter is coming round.  hmm )

This is my beat attempt at making a tank, not sure why but in this picture the lines look really fuzzy. http://i26.tinypic.com/2u540aq.jpg

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

I know, I was going to do that but for some unknown reason I didn't. I even looked up the thing to check. WHY did I do it like that? I even swapped it around too so it shows the front instead of the back.

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

I'm back... my parents aren't home, but I'm allowed on for a while ;D

If we get the bulk of the more skilled stuff on the main project done before you leave, we can use some of the time time to polish it up with title screens, graphics, music, et cetera.

I'll keep working on some 1s1sers (shouldn't take too long... my brother's going to summer school, so I'll be able to concentrate), then we can join them together as the library... any ideas for a name for it?

As for the third project... what do MLC and Toasty think..? We chose a project each already... but if you guys want to work on something else, I think we'll be fine with that.

I'll have a go at drawing some graphics up for the main project... We need tanks, helicopters, backgrounds... do we need graphics of troops? (sorry if I'm not being very on-the-ball...) I'll get to work on them after I've finished a few 1s1sers...

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

My mum has just told me that we have to do something "active" tomorrow, meaning I might not be on that much. Hopefully she'll forget. I have absolutely no idea as to what else we could do. I am trying to think of something, but I can't.

EDIT: She forgot XD

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Don't need troops, and bases. I'll do some maps, then you can improve them at some point.

Ideas:
Text-based RPG, nice, simple, effiecient and fun!

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Ooh! I've got an idea for #3... a text based virtual pet RPG  big_smile  That would be a unique project... perhaps something like having to take care of a pet, whilst completing various RPG-style missions. As for names for it: Pet Shop RPG? The Pound RPG? Zookeeper RPG (pet lions!  tongue )?

OK... that's a random idea... but I'll post it anyway ^^

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Well, a text-based RPG is something like this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/The-Whiz/657274

If we could make something similar, but with a different plot, we might be on to a winner.  smile

Ok, sounds good to me.

EDIT: I've had a go at making a short one, and it's no too hard.

To what extent are we allowed to spy on other teams? Because I know everyone's backup, spare, and test accounts.
