That would work...  big_smile  Care to put it into The ARCADE? I'm designing level 2 of the England Scroller ^^

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Come up with a title for the England Scroller, maybe? I changed the character sprite to a Mini Cooper painted with St George's flag, and the backgrounds are various bits of England...  tongue

Yippee!  big_smile  Also... I mentioned that I was upgrading my computer... The new one arrived yesterday (my parents didn't tell me what was in the box until an hour ago, so I didn't know it had arrived  tongue ) So, we're going to install it today... I'll get any files that we need from my current computer uploaded - the scroller will be half-finished when I upload it, so that I can work on it...

Also, I had an idea for the end-music of the scroller... "God save the Queen", naturally  tongue  It could be a random celebration of all things English at the end of the game...  big_smile

Obviously God save the Queen...  tongue   Even though I am antidisestablishmentarianist I still think that we should have that!  big_smile

And it's good that your computer has arrived, now you can work faster on Olympic stuff!  big_smile

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Yeah... we have an extra 6.5 days to work on projects now... I wonder if we should tell them we were almost finished already...  tongue

I'm not on my new PC yet... still transferring files to a USB key, so that I don't have to download GIMP and stuff again...

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but, shouldn't that be "antidisestablishmentarianist"... a person can't be a "something-ism", I don't think... as in a person is not described as an "atheism", but rather, an "atheist" (only example I can think of...) I'm not too sure on that one...  hmm

Still waiting for GIMP to load onto my USB...

Hmm... Maybe we could do something else? Or shall we just wait until those six and a half days are up?  hmm

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

We're only allowed a maximum of 3 projects... we could make our scroller supremely amazing, though... I uploaded it earlier, half-finished...

We could add various sound effects to the projects, I suppose... But that would only take 1 day, tops...

We weren't meant to have these 6.5 days - which is why I tried to fit our timescheme to finish tomorrow... I'm at a loss of what to do!  tongue

Just wait it out and make sure every glitch, bug, and piece of lag, is non-existent.

That's what we've been doing already...  hmm  Meh, I'm moving to a faster computer soon, maybe the projects will run weirdly over there, so I have more glitches to fix...

@WeirdF: Have you started to port your 1s1ser yet?

Import your project, and make it start when the book is clicked (make it saitch to your background, and react to the book's broadcast) Oh, and if you can think of a wordplay name for the author, it would be much appreciated.  tongue

Okay, done!  smile

I also fixed a glitch and cleaned up all the scripts, I can't stand a messy scripting area!

Well the thing is, I upload the project while the variables are in their correct places and in large readout mode, but online they are not in the correct place and in normal readout mode. It's not an online glitch because when you download the project they're still like that... I tried uploading it again but the problem remained...  hmm

Shall I fix generic games so that it actually jumps rather than just appearing slightly above where it was before, and then falling?
