A boardgame, SSR, something else?

I can make a base for a board game.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Instead of a board game, how about a card game? Have you guys ever played Crazy 8's? With 52 different sprites for the cards, it could easily be done, and also it's never been done before on Scratch. In my Spades Board Game Project, you probably noticed that I had well over 80 sprites, but the game goes extremely fast even online. It's because it is made of many short scripts and not a lot of broadcasts, and that's how you effectively beat the Lag Rating part of the judging.

Well, that's a bit of an overreaction and that sort of language is frowned upon here.

Crazy 8's? Haven't played in a long time but most people know about it. Pass The Trash could be simple to make, it's only one card per person in a hand and the computer could easily make decisions by how high their card is. If you wan the (simple) rules, just say so.

OK, I am making a Pass The Trash. Depending on how hard I choose to work, we may only need graphical improvements before we submit.

Judges have to download so we can do quite a bit that wouldn't work online.

Also, could you please add the banner to your signature.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Would you guys rather me ditch the 1S1S thing or just copy the shuffle part of the script every time I need it?

Right now I'm gonna finish the touches on the shuffler and upload a project to be worked on. I can't be bothered to post the rules right now so I'll say them tomorrow.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Yes, sadly this took all mornign in the making. However, the reason being is there are some scripts that prepare for later on in the game, but were needed before I could create visual things.

I think you should stick to 1s1s, it shows how advanced programmers Team America is  big_smile

But you will still fall to the almighty power that is the Moldovian Aurochs.

Can I join? My current best is my A.I. Enemy test #5 but hopefully one I'm uploading tomorrow will be even better. It may be done by tomorrow night if my A.I. Thing won't get me in. I'd say the new one I'm working on is a dephenit yes though.

Even if they had 5 people they still wouldn't be able to stand up to the Aurochs.

Shuffler

I am doing more work on it right now. So after I finish it, we will need to get better graphics so someone good with that can handle it.

I'll see what I can do.  Anyone else to make another set is fine with me, because if we have two to compare, we have more chance of getting the best graphics.

Also, do we want rounded edges or straight corners?
