i also think Arya would be good cause she would be female as no other dragon rider had been female before (Right?)   

I'm pretty sure that there were female dragon riders before Galbatorix's genocide of the riders.

Elva as a rider would just be scary beyond all reason. being able to know what caused people pain and having a dragon and magic to do that....? scary

I haven't actually read the Eragon books, but I thought it was a trilogy. So why is there a fourth one?

Yes! It is a green dragon! WE NEED A NAME!!!!!! I think the name of the 4th book should be Eldunari (aka: Heart of Hearts) I hope there is a release date soon.... 
and MORE books???? As long as the big questions are answered in the next book that's cool.... But if we will have to wait for Eragon to vanquish Galbatorix until a further installment I'm gonna be a little mad...

This is refering to a dragon become a shade, so it seems likely that Angela will be the new rider and that her dragon will become a shade. *shudders*

The interview also mentioned something about the green egg shell fragments where Saphira has the fight with Glaeder. He said in a sarcastic tone - Why would this be a hint? What makes you think this was a hint? No comment. So maybe Angela already HAD a dragon, and her dragon becomes a shade in book four? *shudders again* This would explain her immortality.

My theories for book 4 hinge around Elva. She is going to be VERY important, but I don't quite know for what.

i just remembered something..... in Eragon, Eragon has a vison or whatever of two elves getting on a boat and two dragons circling above them....
I think this may be Eragon (yes not an elf- but he looks like one now because of the blood oath celebration) and Ayra! (i think it was mentioned it was  guy and girl elves). but then there was somthing about someone crying i think... 

Elva will definatly play a huge role... she doesn't have to help people in pain anymore but she still knows what pains them. what if she goes to Galbatorix? *shudder*


I also saw that there are going to be chapters from Thorn and Mortag's perspecitve. I wonder if they will try to change their true names....?

This leads me to believe that all the riders are RELATED.

I don't think Roran would be a rider, it doesn't fit.

But I just read Brisingr again, and discovered something.

I think the old woman was Selena, and that the young girl as another child of hers.

The young girl is/will be the new rider.

They kept their names as Selena wants no one to know about her being alive.

She came to Angela because she wanted her fortune told again, and that of her child.

Now then, who was Selena's THIRD beloved?

The first Eragon.

whoa.... that would be EPIC! very well thought out too    it would also explain why she named Eragon... eragon. after her third beloved. good thing Brom didn't know -_-
