Re: Welcome to the OLD local block library!

the new alpha "clone" reporter must be turned into a command, how could a reporter clone? commands? unless you turn it into command, to do this in byob choose operators, type in "clone me" and add the command: report (clone).
it should work. but later jens could fix that.

Right, I've created the account but have found new scratcher privileges too limited to copy the pages across though I have contacted an moderator about this and await a reply  smile

Thank you so much for choosing me, but what if I don't want to send you my email? Can I trust you? (Not to give it out anywhere, spam, etc.)

Re: Welcome to the OLD local block library!

erm... I don't pass my contacts off to third parties, if that's what you mean! You should know me well enough for that by now  smile  You could always create a temporary account to email me from if you're worried. I wouldn't normally ask for people to email me but I don't want the password to fall into the wrong hands! I hope you understand.

SSBBM is now on board and has the password!

I've converted the entire block library (official posts) to pure text, ready to move once the new account is allowed to move image tags!  yikes

The only reason I made them larger is because when i had it the actual size you said it was too small!  tongue  Yes I will start making them in-between, or would you rather have them exact.

It is a reporter because it clones, then reports what the clone would look like.

Uh...I don't know how to use any Scratch mods, but I think it would be useful to have a block that says:
[lock layer position of sprite [ ] ]

So, in other words, if you told a sprite to [go to front] and then used this block, even if you told any other sprite to [go to front] it wouldn't be in front of the first sprite. Get it?

You could just do
forever
  go to front

Suppose you wanted to lock a sprite into the second layer from the front?  hmm

Re: Welcome to the OLD local block library!

There are actually several things that the Library depends on that this user can't do:
Edit posts
Post images
Post links outside of Scratch

I hope you don't mind if I use this account a bit around the advanced topic forum, helping. It will get us closer to being Scratcher status. ~~sci.

BTW, I'm going to sign my posts on this account. if you use it, I'd recommend you do too.

That 360 second rule is annoying!  mad

Re: Welcome to the OLD local block library!

What about me? I'm still alive, you know!  sad   tongue
sparks, you and SSBBM could directly upload the BYOB blocks by using a password-protected page. I'll email you the password once I've gotten the page set up. (I've already emailed SSBBM about this.)
And what is the future of the site?

Yawn.
