I've written a simple game for my 6-year old who loves horses and the name Eliana, to help her fine-motor skills. It is a typical beginner's game where you catch the falling carrots, moving the horse left and right at the bottom with the mouse. Some innovations include having the carrots speed up exponentially, and facing the horse in an appropriate direction based on the mouse's movement without jitter when the mouse is not moving much. The game doesn't end until you miss three carrots in a row, so when it gets really fast it is wise to simply defend a small part of the screen. The carrots start slow because I don't want to discourage my daughter, but eventually get fast enough to be quite challenging for me. If you want it to start faster, go to the "Eliana" sprite's green flag block and make the initial value of the Speed variable a more negative number (if it's positive, the carrots will fall up!) and/or change the Gravity variable to make Speed grow quicker.
Please give Eliana a try and let me know what you think! My high score using a laptop touchpad is 81.
