yes, I'm back.
Requiem of Thunder is a vertically scrolling space shooter, and is also my newest game project. The demo above contains 1 level and its boss.
Have fun!

Nice production, though very laggy online.
Would be nice if the player-sprite moved a tiny bit faster, though, and it appears that you are only detecting one key-press at a time making it hard to move and shoot, or move diagonaly.
Otherwise, very nice.

no, it's just acceleration/decceleration (to give the game more challenge). and the shooting thing is more of a small bug, which is only online anyway.

Demo 2 has been updated. Boss 2's death scene now works perfectly, and the entire project is now commented (using Scratch 1.2Beta).
Also, a .exe version made with Scratch2exe is available here:

press Alt+PrintScreen, then go in Paint or any other editor of your choice and paste it. Cut out the portion that you want manually.

If you have a Mac OSX, there's a program called Grab in the Applications folder.
also, which boss are you talking about? The first one's pretty easy, the second one's hard because by the time you get to him you're already low on health from the level itself.

the first boss. lol, i keep bumping into the spiky things before the boss, so i dont have that much health left
