Ok guys. I have all your answers for server downtime.

1. He shuts the server down at night
2. Different timezones
3. He is currently trying to switch from MCsharp to MCzall, and is having problems.

They are actually failed attempts at drawing pigs, they'll try to hug you then explode with rage because they have no arms.

Well I respawned. I got my stuff back, and cleared that cave of creepers, and zombies. I found out the cave goes on for MILES. It's pretty good for mining but I became lost.

Also I setup some landmines around my house.  When you step on a pressure plate. Boom. The animal, or theive gets destroyed.
