Re: Scratch PA~July 2010

Here it is:

SOUPOFTOMATO'S SCRATCH PA

Welcome to the Scratch PA of soupoftomato. A dramatic reinvention of Spin, Direct, and Forward, as well as more stuff for Household RPG await you in this amazing PA.

Household RPG

I announced this ambitious project last PA. I released a demo of the first room which captivated viewers. My idea for this project is to change it, and take it a step further, you will be playing through an overhead view with nothing strange about it except the storyline. But when danger lurks, or exciting adventure lies around the corner, your are transported to the colorful imagination of your character. Dogs are tamed beasts to help you on your quest, brothers are ugly trolls as tall as mountains, and the toilet is a treasure chest.

I will be introducing a map to the game. You carry it around, and use it to revisit past areas, an idea I did not have in mind when I started. I won't disclose any locations, so here's a blanked image of the important item:

I once promised this would be released July 15th, but alas I was bouncing back in forth between visiting relatives and didn't have time. So you can expect the game much later, and I will not give a release date, for I would be letting down everyone by once again not meeting it.
Spin Series Reinvented

Spin. Forward. Direct. The simple gameplay ideas and amazingly simple levels immersed literally thousands of players. but something was missing.

The Spin series lacked depth. there was nothing more than a few levels, each with one more thing than the last. But now, I go in a new direction. I will introduce 20 new levels to each game and use unique gameplay concepts. Tight curves in Spin, precise timing in Forward, challenging mazes in Direct. The current levels will be almost completely ditched from the game. Almost. The inclusion of the classic mode will allow players to play through the game exactly as it was the first time.

Below is the second level of Spin.

Below is the third level of Spin. This is a direction I've wanted to go toward for a while and you can expect more of it.

Well, that's pretty much it. I can't give any information about Forward or Direct currently, but keep on the lookout for iSyn versions of the game. Spin Classic, Forward Classic, And Direct Classic.

I know I said no release date, but it could very well be past Christmas by the time it's done.

Just because I am reviving it doesn't mean that offer is dead. Your beta-testing just like before. I'll be giving you a message whenever the first one is ready.
