PLZ a simple workaround for "can't upload" ?!?!?!?

If all the data is in the project file, can we not have a second method besides using Scratch itself to upload projects? Surely it wouldn't be that hard to add this feature to the Scratch website. I've been unable to upload (except twice) any projects over 210k since November of 2009. This would be a great workaround for virtually anyone having upload problems, regardless of the reason.

I'd settle for an ftp link with a 24 hour wait for adds...!!            sad

There actually is a way to share projects without uploading to the website first - here it is. It's my favourite forum post ever  big_smile

I think Locomule means how he/she can upload projects to the Scratch site without using Scratch because he/she's unable to upload them for a long time.

Thanks a lot coolstuff but mathematics hit it on the head. Like the way you can upload an avatar except for this would be for projects.

Oh, I see - unfortunately, I don't think this is possible. I was thinking about an online uploader the other day - but there isn't one. Sorry  sad

Exactly, hence my proposal for one  smile
I'm a little lost why it is "not possible" though. Does the Scratch app do something special to the project file that simply cannot be handled on the server end? I know about the "compress feature" but I wouldn't use that anyway as I hand optimize all my stuff and sure don't want my images degraded.
I guess I just assumed that the Share Online feature in Scratch just uploaded the project file to the server along with the applicable user nfo. Aka data transfer. I mean, this is MIT peeps right, surely they could figure out something that simple??
