Lately, I have noticed the popularity of blender in scratch growing. I also noticed that good lighting in Blender projects was a rare thing. So, I decieded to make a tutorial in hopes of improving the quality of Blender projects. The tutorial can be viewed here.

No problem. But what version of Blender do you have? My interface is slightly different. I use 2.49
Nevermind, I saw the project title
I didn't get that beta yet

Oh, I have both 2.5 and 2.49. And if you want to apply the tutorial to 2.49. just replace Environment lighting with approximate AO. Though you should use enviro light if you can because it is much faster than AO. Also, the key to using 2.5 is to save often.

That's what my teacher always said. 'Save early, save often'
Does version 2.5 use python 3?

Hmm. I think it's python 2.6 just like in blender 2.49. Speaking of which, I am going to take python classes soon!
