Fruit Island RPG preview!

The preview of Fruit Island RPG (formerly Fruitcraft RPG) is complete! I'm still working on the battle system, so please excuse that. Please tell me what you think about my changes to the original Fruitcraft RPG!

The original is in the example games of scratch. It comes with the download, in the "games" folder.

Great job! I think this will have great potential. You know, I was thinking of expanding FruitCraft myself, but i never really got around to it, and now you did it  smile

For the battle system, how exactly are you gonna do that? Will it be turn-based, like adventure quest, or pokemon style, or legend of zelda style?

I'm planning for it to be turn based, like final fantasy. I'm need to think of a script to impliment it when it's done, though...

Re: Fruit Island RPG preview!

You know...I've never actually played Final Fantasy. How exactly does that work?
I'm pretty darn good with scripting-- Maybe I could help you with that  smile

No thanks for 2 reasons:

I recently revealed this as a collab project and my studio wants to keep it at 2 people for maximum communtication efficency.
and...
I want the thrill of doing it myself and accomplishing it.

Okay I lied, I have a third reason:

If I do it myself, I have in mind exactly what I want to make, so I don't have to take tons of time explaining it and it doesn't have to be redone if it's not what I want.

Yeah, sorry on that, though.  sad
