Time format change

Hi everyone.
I have a forum suggestion. I know that in the admin panel in FluxBB, there is an option that lets you change the time format. It would be easier for us to see what time each post was made if you changed the format from

Code:

H:i:s

to

Code:

g:i:s A

For example, 13:18:56 will be 1:18:56 PM. 02:54:03 would be 2:54:03 AM.
Please discuss.

Aw, come on, we like your suggestion!

Personally, I don't see what advantage it would have to the forums as a whole though - so we see the date and time in a different format - I think we should fix the time zone bug first  smile

Re: Time format change

Well, for non military personnel, it will probably be less confusing.

Oh, come on, 24-hour time isn't confusing at all - in fact, I think the French use it exclusively. I know they do in Quebec.

Well, yeah, it's not confusing to lots of people. Okay, here's the main issue: Laziness. Heh.

Re: Time format change

I know military time more easier. You mentioned there was a problem with Time Zones? It might be the main forum administrator that's forcing everyone to use the default forum time. There's a checkbox to unmark somewhere.
